In-Person Styling Services
Style your life...
Full-Service Styling Package
This package is great for new clients who want to redefine their style. Tailor Point Styling will work with you to create a wardrobe that fits your personal style, your budget, your body, and your life. You will look great and still feel like yourself!
- Introductory phone call: We discuss you, your needs, your likes/dislikes, and your budget. I walk you through the steps of the Full-Service Styling Package and answer any questions you may have. After this call, I send you your welcome packet (and just a bit of homework).
- Closet Review: We peek in your closet to see what you love and what you’re missing. I give you guidance on how to declutter and organize your closet. It is not my goal to make you throw away all your clothes, but I will help you decide if pieces need to be purged. I also give you ideas on how to wear the clothes you already have, and take a full set of measurements.
- Style Plan Document: After your Closet Review, I send you a customized document. It includes notes on what we went over in your Closet Review, as well as inspirational image boards, a breakdown of your personal style, and an outline of what types of pieces I will shop for you.
- Personal Shopping Guide: I compile and send you a customized document, containing at least 30 wardrobe pieces, arranged into outfits. Pieces will be gathered from a wide range of online shops and vendors to suit your budget. Your Shopping Guide will also outline your style type and give tips about where to shop in the future.
- Shopping meeting: We go through your Shopping Guide document together (virtually or in-person), and I help you pick what goes into your shopping carts. This includes guidance on sizing as well as prioritizing what you buy now and what gets bookmarked for later.
- Styling and Alterations: Once your pieces have been ordered and your packages arrive, we schedule a styling meeting where you try on your clothes and I help you determine what to keep, what to return, and what to alter. I then help you put together outfits from your new and existing clothing to create outfits that are in line with your new style so you have ideas of how and when to wear your clothes! - Follow-up Meeting: Once all alterations are complete and you have your new wardrobe, we touch base about your styling session to make sure you have what you need.

Workwear Package
This package focuses on putting together a capsule wardrobe of clothing to get you through your workweek. Whether you’ve started a new job, received a promotion, or are just ready to upgrade how you dress for work, this is the service for you.
- Introductory phone call: We discuss you, your needs, your likes/dislikes, and your budget. I walk you through the steps of the Workwear Package and answer any questions you may have. After this call, I send you your welcome packet (and just a bit of homework).
- Closet Review: We peek in your closet to see what you love and what you’re missing. I give you guidance on how to declutter and organize your closet. I also give you ideas on how to wear the clothes you already have, and take a full set of measurements.

Style your night…
Event Styling
Whether you need a cocktail dress for a wedding, a tuxedo for a concert performance, or a wild get-up for a themed fundraiser, I’ll help you find the perfect outfit for your special event!
- Introductory phone call: We discuss your upcoming event, your needs, and your budget. I answer any questions you may have. After this call, I send you your welcome packet (and just a bit of homework).
- Digital Document: I provide you with a document containing three or more outfit options for you to pick from. Each outfit includes suggestions for shoes and accessories that you can purchase or pull from your closet.
- At-Home Fitting: You order any options that you like. When they arrive, I come to you, in your home in the DMV metro area, to hold a fitting and take alteration notes on your pieces. See Alterations, for more information on this process, and Alteration Fees)
- Final fitting: When your alterations are complete I return your outfit and we check the fit to make sure you are ready to look your best at your big event!
Please allow approximately one month for the Event Styling Service, rush services are not always available.
